Lemang is one of the popular traditional foods in Malaysia, made from glutinous rice, coconut milk, salt and cooked in a hollowed bamboo stick wrap with banana leaves in order to prevent the rice from sticking to the bamboo.

The bamboo tube containing glutinous rice, salt and coconut milk is placed slighly slanted on a small fire with the opening facing upwards and shoul be turned regulary in order to make it evenly cooked. It takes about 4-5 hours to cook "Lemang"

[Cameron Highlands - (Last day) 2018

Last day in Cameron Highland, but we drove to Kea Farm Market, one most popular fruit and vegetable market in Cameron Highland. Located along the main road between Tringkap and Brinchang near to Copthorne Hotel. Capthorne Hotel is largest and highest resort, preched on a dramatic plateau near 1,600 meters higher over looking Brinchang Valley.

Outside view from hotel

Opened early in the morning while fog crossing the market we must find car park carefully, because parking spaces scarce in this area. Many visitors usually park their car by the roadside. For those who drive, you might have to park your car further away then walk to the market (not far from market, just walk a few step hahahaha)

In Dec 2018, we planned 3 day 2 night for family holiday to Cameron Highlands, located about 1,500 meter from above sea level. Cameron Highlands is district in Pahang, its boundary shares with Kelantan and Perak states, its one of Malaysia most popular tourist destinations.

Short brief history

We started our journey from Kuantan town at 0600 am, traveling by car using East Coast Highway take about 4 hours to get to Cameron Highlands. After 4 hours drive, we stop at Brinchang for check in our Hotel. Brincang is the highest and second largest township of Cameroon Highlands, situated 1,450 meter above sea level on a gently sloping plateau about 2 km after Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands.

Hotel at Brinchang
Because this is our first time travel to Cameron Highland, we use trivago for booking our hotel..why we used trivago online, it is cheaper rate and we must booking early because its always full (many foreign and local tourist came here every seconds, hour, day, month and yearly).
